Outside Steve Jobs' house

On Oct. 15th, 2011, my Mom took me to Steve Jobs house at Waverly street. Here are some pictures I took over there.

This is his house and the yard.

Apple trees at Steve Jobs' yard.
There are a lot of apple trees in his yard. Maybe he liked to sit down underneath an apple tree when he was thinking. Or maybe an apple happened to drop on his head and he gave it one bite, then he decided to call his company APPLE. See a lot of apples dropped on the ground.

Here are the flowers that people gave him.

This is the note I wrote to him.

There are apples people gave to him. All the apples have a bite on it.

These are the flowers with writing on it.

There are a lot of tall trees on the street. I imagine he walked on the street, thinking about how people going to like his iPhone.

Note to Steve Jobs

Tomorrow my mom will take me to Steve Jobs' house. Here is the note I wrote for him:
Dear Steve Jobs,
I like to use iphone to play zombie vs. plants, and Angry Birds. My 5 year old brother also likes to use iphone to play zombie, Angry birds and watch Lego movies. My mom uses iphone to check word, and to check thing she doesn't know. Somethings on the iphone I use are useful like: help my mom find where she will go, take a picture, video tape a movie, look in the dictionary for words I don't know what they mean, and read books. Thanks so much.
        Sincerely, Avery

Visit Swank Farm with Corn Maze

Do you want to know about Swank Farm? There are Pedal karts, which you use to make it move with your feet. If there is someone in your family that can’t reach the pedals, you can carry them on the back.

There is also a jumping pillow, it is a pillow but it is as big as a basket court and very jumping. When you jump on it, you feel you are flying.

You could feed a goat, fish a goat, get a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch, go in a small corn maze or a big corn maze, ride in a cow-train with a tractor loader in the front, jump in a cow jumping house, and make corn seeds with a corn yourself.

You could also do things like shot a corn by air-cannon and shot pumpkin on a swing. The corn shot is very loud. The pumpkin is very hard to hit it.
At the famers market on site, you can find watermelon with yellow inside. It is very yummy.

If you are brave enough to go into corn maze at night, there will a ghost chasing you, so you better run or you will be cut, I guess.

Right by the farm, there is an airport. It is a very small one, but you will see airplane landing every two minutes.

This farm is the fun place for kids and adults and grandparents. So have fun at it. This Farm only opens till October, so you better hurry. Remember to bring a thick jacket because it could be windy and chilly at night.

Niles Canyon Railway

Do you want to know about Niles Canyon Railway? The train starts from Niles, and drives about 30 minutes to Sunol.

Niles is a nice small town at Fremont, California.

We walked on the town of Niles and saw a fire truck sirening by.

Our train is poweredd by Steam and some trains by Diesel.

The train crosses mountains, two briges and an old train station.

In Sunol there are gift shops and a big train engine that is powered by Diesel.

I got a chace to go up on this powerful train engine. The driver is realy friendly and helpful.

On the train there are places that don`t have cover, and places that have cover. When we were riding back there was someone who checked our tickets. This train does not drive fast and it is a lot of fun!

This train opens Jan-Mar, First & Third Sunday; Apirl-Aug, Every Sunday; Sept-Oct, First & Third Sunday; November, No Operations; and December, Trains of Lights only. Tickets are avaible at the Sunol Depot & our Niles Station on days the trains run. Adult $10 Seniors 62 and over $8 Children 3-12 $5 2 and under ride for free.
